Nijo Castle - Dramatic kabuki design showing the nobleman Toyotomi Hideyori standing on the deck of a ship, with the warrior Kato Kiyomasa kneeling before him. The warrior wears a black robe over his armor, a sword at his side and a spear lying nearby. A large tasseled standard rests in a black lacquer stand at right next to a chair. Nijo Castle rises above the opposite shore, the sky streaked with pink clouds as the sun sets. A handsome design, beautifully colored and shaded.
