Ladies with Pet Cockatoo - Charming scene of upper-class beauties in an elegantly furnished interior. A white cockatoo perches on a hanging stand. One of the women holds a small cup of food for the bird which looks down at it expectantly. At right, a Japanese clock sits atop a red lacquer stand. A lovely triptych detailed with embossing in the white kimono trim and burnishing in the hair.
