Comments - Attractive kabuki scene of a beauty kneeling in a garden at night, adjusting her hair ribbon and smiling slightly as she looks back at a nobleman standing just inside the porch. He frowns back at her, holding a fan. He wears an elegant blue and gray brocade coat trimmed with tasseled bows over a blue and white kimono, his hair pulled back into a neat topknot tied with blue cord. Autumn flowers and grasses frame the dark night sky at left. Nicely colored with a handsomely detailed setting and fine interaction between the characters.
