Comments - Great original painting on silk of two kabuki actors in character. At left, a man strikes a pose with his legs firmly spread apart and one elbow thrust out, staring ahead with a stern expression. He grips a wooden stick with a straw hat attached to it. The beauty at right holds the other end of the pole, staring over her shoulder with a slightly sad expression. She wears a plum colored kimono patterned with cherry blossoms and accented with gold metallic paint. An intriguing image with expressive figures, very carefully detailed.

Condition - With excellent color and detail. A couple small holes in subject and along top edge. Faint spotting in subject. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
