Comments - Handsome modern design showing a traditional farmhouse with a thatched roof, as seen through an open window. A flame flickers in the lantern hanging from the top of the window frame, and an ox waits patiently outside the rustic building. Several straw rain coats are hung near the entrance, and the mountains in the distance are covered with snow. A very attractive composition with a simple color scheme used very effectively, and the dark window frame adding a sense of depth to the image A limited edition design published by the Mikumo Mokuhansha in Kyoto, pencil-signed "Mikumo" and numbered 164/700 at lower left. Would make a handsome framed display.
