Series; Inner Chiyoda Palace (Chiyoda no Ooku)

Puppet Performance - Wonderful print of two beauties performing a bunraku puppet play, with other beauties playing a hand drum and shamisen for musical accompaniment. A folding screen with pine trees provides a nice backdrop. The audience sits behind a bamboo blind at upper left. A charming print with beautiful color and lots of detail, including delicate embossing in the white kimono trim.

Image Size - 14" x 27 3/4" + margins as shown

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Three panels, not attached at the seams. A few small holes, repaired, blends well. Slight soiling, faint pink offsetting. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
