The Mie River Near Yokkaichi - Wonderful Hiroshige print from his famous Hoeido Tokaido depicting the lone outpost at the Mie River on a windy day. At left, a traveler chases after his hat, which rolls down the path after having been blown off his head. At right, a man bends forward into the wind, his cloak fluttering about him as he crosses a narrow plank bridge across a march. An handsome design with soft color and fine bokashi shading in the water and sky.

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Light toning. Some prints have a few small spots or slight soiling. Please see photos for a sense of individual condition. Generally in good condition overall.
