Karuizawa: Ichimura Shonojo V - Lovely kabuki portrait of Ichimura Shonojo V as a young courtesan, looking over her shoulder with her eyes wide. She wears a pale gray outer kimono bordered with autumn grasses and tiny red flowers, over a red tie-dyed robe and another red under robe. Her hair is pulled back into a large bun with longer locks on either side of her neck and a few loose wisps framing her face. The view about shows a mountain landscape at night, and the red title cartouche at upper right is surrounded by a long letter and a brazier with red flames. A handsome design, detailed with embossing in the white kimono collars and fine shading in the background.
