Comments - Charming scene of a young woman sitting on a bamboo bench after a bath, holding her foot up to trim her nails. She wears a blue and white cotton robe, one sleeve pushed down to the waist, tied with a red tie-dyed sash. Her hair is swept back with a large tortoiseshell comb and a few hairpins. Nicely detailed with fine line work.

Artist - Koryusai (1735 - 1790)

Image Size - 13 3/4" x 9 3/8" + margins as shown

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Slight thinning on reverse at top corners from previous mounting, repaired. Slight creasing at top corners, faint stain near left edge. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
