He crouches beside a shoji window as his master, Lord Hangan, prepares to commit suicide, the figure seen in silhouette. Yuranosuke grimaces angrily, his arms firmly folded across his chest. At this moment he determines to avenge Hangan's death. A nicely detailed scene from this famous play about loyalty and vengeance
