Sawamura Sojuro V as Oboshi Yuranosuke - Terrific kabuki portrait of Sawamura Sojuro V as Oboshi Yuranosuke from the noted drama about the 47 ronin, "Kanadehon Chushingura." He crouches beside a shoji window as his master, Lord Hangan, prepares to commit suicide, the figure seen in silhouette. Yuranosuke grimaces angrily, his arms firmly folded across his chest. At this moment he determines to avenge Hangan's death. A nicely detailed scene from this famous play about loyalty and vengeance

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. A few small wormholes, repaired, blends well. Creasing, slight soiling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
