Comments - Dynamic kabuki portrait of Ichikawa Danjuro as the hero in the classic play "Shibaraku" (Wait a Minute). He strikes a bold pose, lifting a heavy book above his head and glaring angrily to the side. He wears layers of colorful robes over a suit of armor, and his red stage makeup adds to his imposing appearance. An attractive design.

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. A few wormholes, slight thinning at top left corner, repaired, blends well. Slight soiling, a few small spots, slight rubbing and softening of paper along top edge. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
