Combing the Hair

Series; Ten Classes of Women's Physiognomy

Combing the Hair - Fantastic Utamaro print of a young beauty after a bath. Her casual cotton kimono falls away from her shoulders as she combs her long, lustrous hair after washing it. Excellent soft color and fine detail in the hairline. Would make a lovely display. A fine Takamizawa reprint with publisher's seal on reverse.

Artist - Utamaro (1750 - 1806)

Image Size - 15 1/4" x 10 1/8" + margins as shown

Condition - Excellent overall with no issues to report.
