Winter Stroll

Comments - Lovely scene of a beauty pausing during a winter stroll, her head wrapped in a black cloth against the cold. She balances on one foot, resting one hand gently on the back of her attendant, who uses a stick to clean snow from her tall wooden geta sandals. The snow-covered branches of a tree arch gracefully overhead. A beautiful scene from daily life in old Edo.
