Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of Nakamura Fukusuke I as Kaiya Zenkichi, stopping for a rest while traveling. He sits on a bench with his legs tucked up beside him, his straw sandals on the floor. He grins as he holds up several blue cloths, his bundles on the bench beside him and his straw hat at right. A nice expressive figure.

Condition - With excellent color and detail. Some small pinpoint holes near right edge of panel. Faint soiling in subject with a few tears and creases along edges. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
