Yamato, Snow at Yoshino, Lady Shizuka, Yoshitsune and Benkei, No. 4 - Handsome scene of the great Minamoto warrior Yoshitsune meeting with his lover Lady Shizuka in the snowy mountains of Yoshino. Overcome with emotion, she bows her head, holding her kimono sleeve to her mouth as the wind whips her straw coat around her. Yoshitsune playfully lifts her snow-covered hat as his loyal retainer Benkei, the warrior monk, waits behind him holding a naginata. The inset features Yoshitsune's suit of armor, which he gave to Sato Tadanobu in return for protecting Lady Shizuka. A terrific scene from the life of this famous leader.
