Snake: Delivering a Message

Series; Twelve Animals of the Zodiac

Snake: Delivering a Message - Interesting scene of a court servant paying a visit to a nobleman, kneeling respectfully before him as he delivers a message. The nobleman regards him soberly as he stands on the steps of his mansion, the coils of a snake extending from beneath the sleeves of his purple robe. A blossoming cherry tree frames the building, with delicate petals drifting down through the sky. An attractively detailed subject.
