Comments - Handsome kabuki double portrait of a young couple, the beauty looking down at her sweetheart with a gentle smile, one hand resting delicately atop his shoulder. He looks up at her with a worried frown, holding his under robe closed with one hand. He wears a deep blue kimono patterned with tiny gourds and blossoms, while her white robe is faintly embossed and shadowed in green. Nice expressive faces.

Condition - With excellent color and detail. A few small holes repaired from reverse. Light creasing and rubbing throughout with a few stains in subject and near edges. Light soiling in subject. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
