Original 19th century Japanese Woodblock Print
Genji and Beauty

Comments - Charming print showing Prince Genji sitting beside a low screen as he chats with a beauty. She rests her elbow along the top of the divider, a roll of tissues in one hand and the sleeve of her red under robe held close to her chin. A cherry tree blooms in the garden outside, with a stone lantern at left. Lovely color and detail in this attractive design, with embossing on the white kimono collar and cherry blossoms.

Image Size - 8 3/4" x 6" + margins

Condition - With excellent color and detail. Some soiling and spotting in subject and margins. One light horizontal crease in subject. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
