Comments - Handsome portrait of a sumo wrestler in the ring before a match. He stands with his feet spread firmly apart, looking to the side, wearing a ceremonial fringed red apron patterned with large kanji characters and a row of interlocking diamonds. Detailed with fine line work in the hair and fringe.

Image Size - 14" x 9 7/8"

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Backed with thick paper. Loss along bottom edge, a few wormholes, repaired with backing. Soiling, rubbing, and creasing. Please see photos for details.
