Admiring Chrysanthemums

Comments - Attractive scene of a young couple and a boy pausing to admire a display of chrysanthemums. The spidery blossoms are protected by a roofed structure with reed blinds on the sides. The man points to one of the blooms as he chats with his companion, the beauty placing a hand on his back. The boy follows along, carrying a pair of sandals. Nicely detailed with fine line work and subdued color.

Artist - Koryusai (1735 - 1790)

Image Size - 11 1/4" x 8 1/4" + margins as shown

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Faint toning, slight soiling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
