Takechi no Sukune - Handsome portrait of the elderly statesman Takeuchi no Sukune dressed in exotic Chinese robes. He sits on a fur skin, his green robe trimmed with a blue ruffled collar, the sleeves lined in red. He looks over his shoulder, his face wizened and white beard thinning, a yellow court cap tied under his chin. An elegant fan patterned with sacred jewels and sword rests on a rocky stand at right. A fascinating, beautifully detailed subject with attractive color.

Condition - With excellent color and detail. Lightly toned with a couple areas of thinning near edges. Slight rubbing and soiling along edges with some spotting in subject. Minor creasing throughout. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
