Beauty with a Battledore Kakemono

Comments - Charming kakemono or vertical diptych of a beauty holding a decorative battledore and a feathered shuttlecock for a popular New Year's game similar to badminton. She smiles happily as she looks over her shoulder, dressed in a green kimono patterned with gourds and vines, trimmed with a red floral print. Her hair is pulled back into a smooth bun adorned with a comb, a few hairpins, and a red ribbon. A handsome design.
