Beauty Rolling up a Scroll

Comments - Attractive portrait of a beauty rolling up a scroll, smiling as she works. She wears a light blue kimono with an interesting design of dark blue netting and a pale yellow stepped diamond pattern, worn over a red under robe and tied with a red tie-dyed obi that reverses to black. An inset at upper left shows crashing waves beneath a verse. A handsome design with soft shading in the background.

Artist - Kunichika (1835 - 1900)

Image Size - 9 3/4" x 14 1/4" + margins as shown

Condition - With excellent color and detail. A horizontal crease at center. Some rubbing and soiling at edges. Some wrinkling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
