Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of a beauty holding an umbrella, looking up over her shoulder with a wistful expression at the inset image of a samurai at upper right. She wears a white kimono shaded in pink, tied with a black obi, a white hood swathed around her head. The red of the robe lining, her lips, and the background of the inset add a colorful note to the subdued palette of grays. Nicely composed and detailed with embossing in the white kimono.
