Kinotoko Matsura

Series; Foundations of Morality and Success
Kyodo Risshi no Motoi

Kinotoko Matsura - Unusual image of the shaggy-haired Kinotoko Matsura leaning forward aggressively, one fist resting on this thigh as he angrily shoves aside a warrior dressed in armor. His red robe is pushed up over his waist and his white pants are crumpled up about his kneels, revealing hairy legs and bare feet. A soldier in armor has tumbled to the ground at right, watching his companion closely, his arm sticking straight up in the air. Nice fine line work in the hair.

Artist - Yoshitoshi (1839 - 1892)

Image Size - 8 1/8" x 12 3/8" + decorative border as shown

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Backed with old folio paper. Slight soiling, a few prints have slight rubbing or a few small spots. Please see photos for a sense of individual condition. Generally in nice condition overall.
