Tsukuba Mountain Seen from Sakura River at Hitachi - Attractive view of Tsukuba Mountain from Hitachi. A man leading a horse makes his way across a rustic bridge over the Sakura River, his head bowed against a strong wind. On the pathway in the foreground, a farmwoman carries a basket and a hoe over her shoulder, the breeze whipping the white cloth covering her head. Even the branches of the willow tree at left are blown almost horizontal. A handsome composition, nicely detailed.
