Pink Blossoms

Meiji Era Nature Prints - Charming scene from a group of Meiji era prints of nature scenes based on Edo era paintings by the artist Kazan Watanabe. These lovely designs offer beautiful illustrations of animals and plants, rendered with lively calligraphic strokes. They have the appearance of ink and wash paintings, with soft gradations of color. A wonderful choice to frame and display, either singly or in groups.

Image Size - Approximately 10" x 12 3/4" (not measured individually)

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Vertical center fold from previous folio inclusion. Slight paper remnants or thinning on reverse along sides. A few prints have a few small spots. Please see photos for a sense of individual condition. Generally in nice condition overall.
