Cherry Blossoms and Well

Comments - Lovely design of a well with two wooden buckets holding flowering cherry branches. One bucket hangs near the pulley with branches gracefully curving down to the water below, with a sprig of greenery adding balance. Another pail rests alongside the well. A charming image, nicely detailed and colored.

Artist - Utamaro (1750 - 1806)

Image Size - 8 3/4" x 6 1/2"

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. A few small holes, repaired, blends well. Creasing throughout, very slight soiling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
