Thick Tea Ceremony - Here the host dips water to prepare "koicha," the thick tea served first in a full formal tea ceremony. The tea bowl is ready on the floor before her, with the whisk for mixing the tea nearby. Lovely detail in the intricately patterned kimono and obi fabric.
