Chrysanthemum Garden - Beautiful Chikanobu triptych of three beauties in a garden full of blooming chrysanthemums. The elegant women each wear sumptuously patterned kimono in vibrant colors, contrasting beautifully with the soft gray background. A lovely image with fine detail, including delicate embossing on the white kimono collars and flowers, and burnishing in the hair and the black kimono.

Artist - Chikanobu (1838 - 1912)

Image Size - 14 1/8" x 28 1/4" + margins as shown

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Three panels, not attached at the seams. One small wormhole in top right corner of each panel, repaired, blends well. Faint toning and spotting, slight soiling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
