Comments - Beautiful triptych depicting beauties enjoying a variety of activities on a spring day. At right, a beauty paints a landscape on large sheet of paper, leaning over the image with her brush in hand. Beside her, a young girl displays a completed view of a rustic hut in the mountains. The woman standing behind her carries a floral arrangement on a tall red lacquer stand. In the center, a kneeling woman works on bonseki, the art of creating landscape designs on black lacquer trays using white sand, pebbles, and small rocks. Two women chat in the garden at left, standing on stepping stones beneath a cherry tree covered with pink and white blossoms. A lovely design with wonderful color and detail in the elegant house and furnishings, and the landscape view at left. An attractive choice for display.

Artist - Nobukazu (1874 - 1944)

Image Size - 14 1/8" x 28 3/8" + margins as shown
