An Archery Tournament - Several archers have gathered for a target tournament. Two men are standing, one with long bow drawn preparing to fire. A bull's eye hangs from a wooden frame at right, and blue and white striped tent walls enclose the area. Fine cloth embossing in the seated courtiers' white pants and burnishing in the black court caps. An excellent composition and nice illustration of the archery tradition among samurai.

Image Size - 28 3/4" x 14 7/8" + margins as shown

Condition - With excellent color and detail. Three separate panels. Some rubbing and soiling at edges. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
