Kaoru and Eguchi of the Shin-Kanaya - Lovely portrait of the two courtesans Kaoru and Eguchi of the Shin-Kanaya. One stands with her back to the viewer, showing off her beautiful kimono patterned with plum blossoms and birds in flight. Her companion looks up from reading a long letter, wearing a black outer robe with a money tree design over a red kimono bordered with delicate fishing nets hung up to dry. A charming subject, wonderfully detailed and colored, difficult to find in reprint.

Image Size - 11 1/4" x 8 1/4" + margins as shown

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Faint toning, very slight soiling. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
