Hiroshige III's Famous Places in Tokyo - Attractive design from a series depicting famous places in Tokyo. Hiroshige III includes traditional locations and activities, as well as modern Meiji sights, such as Western style buildings. These lively scenes are filled with wonderful detail, carefully rendered with vibrant color and soft shading. The Boston Museum of Fine Arts has many images from this series in its collection. A great look at Tokyo during the Meiji era.

Great Fireworks Display at Ryogoku Bridge, 1869 - Attractive scene of fireworks exploding high above Ryogoku Bridge in Tokyo. The bridge is tightly packed with pedestrians enjoying the display, while the river below is filled with pleasure boats. A great image of this popular summer activity, nicely detailed with soft shading in the water and sky. The Boston Museum of Fine Arts has this image in its collection.

Image Size - 8 3/4" x 13 1/4" + margins as shown
Condition - With excellent color and detail. Remargined on all sides, and backed with stiff paper. Some rubbing and soiling at edges and in subject. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
