Shuntei's Customs and Manners - Lovely design from Shuntei's 1898 series depicting the "Customs and Manners" of women. Each print features beauties engaged in everyday activities, from admiring a view of the moon to strolling through a garden, styling the hair or catching fireflies. Beautifully composed and attractively colored, these serene images provide a look at the traditional lifestyle of upper-class ladies in Japan. Nicely detailed with soft shading, many include deluxe treatments such as burnishing or embossing.

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Backed with paper. A few prints have slight soiling or offsetting, some have a few wrinkles. Please see photos for a sense of individual detail. Generally in nice condition overall.
