Sakata Kintoki, No. 11 - Wonderful image of Sakata Kintoki, also known as Kintaro, a boy who grew up in the mountains and could speak animal language, with several monkeys. Yamauba, the old mountain woman who raised him, is shown on the hillside above him, with Mt. Fuji rising in the distance. Terrific detail in the monkeys and fruit tree. A great image from this classic tale.

Condition - With excellent color and detail. Some light rubbing and soiling at edges. A few small holes repaired from reverse. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
